Okay first and foremost let me get this out of the way. Lately there has been a lot of talk amongst critics such as myself about this movie's lack of originality. Most compare the plot of this movie to lesser known films such as Repo! The Genetic Opera(which, upon reading it's Wikipedia synopsis, is actually extremely close to this film in terms of its plot). Sadly i haven't had the pleasure of seeing the films that Repo Men apparently rips off. That being said, I've found a number of other reason to despise this film.

The film stars Jude Law and Forest Whitaker. These two leads play Remy(law) and Jake(Whitaker) who work as Repo Men for a company that sells prosthetic organs to customers who often do not have the financial means to pay. This leads the customers to adhere to payment programs in which they must remain consistent with their payments or be hunted down by trained assassins(Repo Men) and have there prosthetic organs harvested which of course in many cases causes them to die.

One day while doing a routine retrieval, Remy has an accident which causes his heart to fail. When Remy awakens in the hospital he finds that his heart has been replaced by one of the prosthetic organs his company peddles. After the trauma of his accident, Remy begins to find it difficult to harvest organ as he once did. He begins to see the cruelty of his actions and contemplates whether or not he can/should defect from the organization. I'm not going to spoil this one so if you're curious as to what happens after this point in the film look it up or go to the theater and suffer like i did

For me this film suffers from a number of plot holes. There are a number of elements, such as the main character Remy's relationship with his son as well as the movie's love interest, that feel tacked on and almost pointless. Not to mention the movie's second half is pretty much entirely stupid. I know I said I'd try not to spoil anything but near the end there is just the most inexplicable knife fight you've ever seen. It literally feels like everyone decided "hey we could just shoot each other and keep it simple but that wouldn't be half as cool as a good old fashion knife fight."

My biggest problem with the film is the plot device used at the end. It felt like the writer just needed a means of explaining a shallow and idiotic second half. Again I'm not going to spoil anything but if you understand the phrase "dream sequence" and realize how it may pertain to this film then you're already saying F*%$ this movie with me.

In summation DON'T SEE THIS FILM!! If the concept makes you curious then wait for the DVD release other wise skip it....

Naruto Shippuden episodes 152 and 153:http://forums.saiyanisland.com/showthread.php?t=2537

one of my promoters told me that this isn't supposed to appear until next week but thanks to him and myself you guys are getting both episodes early. be my guest and thank me..lol

first of all:

Sorry to all you guys that i didn't post last week. for those who don't know I'm a college freshman, so I'm absolutely swamped with work on pretty much a daily basis. any how, i did promise to give my readers constant updates on the newest manga releases and as retribution for failing to fulfill that promise i have somewhat of a treat for you guys.

here is last weeks chapter for those who missed it: http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/487/01/

basically what we have here is a bunch of slowly developing subplots:

-we're showed what Kabuto has been up two

-Kisame's status is verified

-we're even told what Sasuke plans to do about his blindness

I'm predicting that what Naruto author Masahi Kishimoto plans on doing is a second time skip

for those who don't know a time skip is basically when there is a sudden leap in time period within a series where we find that character have gotten older or stronger

next is this weeks chapter: http://manga.saiyanisland.com/1/Naruto/488

i'm lost as to whats taking one manga so long but hey.....

heres a quick synopsis brought to you by our friends at Wikipedia: "It is springtime in Ogden Marsh, Iowa. Dr. Judy Dutton finishes paperwork at the local hospital while her husband, Sheriff David Dutton, enjoys a local high school baseball game. Dutton’s deputy, Russell Clank, spots a man entering the outfield with a gun. David tries to get him to drop his weapon but is forced to shoot and kill the man. David and Judy begin to notice strange behavior in other town residents; they are slow to respond to questions and repetitive in their answers. The next night, a local farmer kills his family.

David and Russell investigate a dead soldier who is found in the woods and eventually find a crashed plane that has leaked a toxin into the water supply. Infected residents become extremely aggressive, attacking and killing other people. David tries to convince Judy to leave town but they are captured by soldiers and taken to a temporary military facility at the high school. Judy says that they are being checked for fevers and speculates the infection is a virus. An alert goes off when Judy is examined and she is taken away to be quarantined. She tries to explain that her fever is due to pregnancy, but is ignored and sedated. She wakes up strapped to a gurney as the perimeter of the facility is breached. The military personnel evacuates, leaving her and a room full of infected patients behind.

Meanwhile, David escapes from a group of people being released and rejoins Russell. The two go to the high school to rescue Judy and get there just in time to save her from an infected man who is killing the patients in their beds. The group begins walking out of town, hiding from both the infected and the military along the way. Eventually, Russell begins to show signs of infection and then sacrifices himself so that David and Judy can escape. They learn that the military also killed those who were not infected, taking no chances that the incident might be exposed. They survive another encounter with the infected and escape in a truck as Ogden Marsh is destroyed. David and Judy reach Cedar Rapids. A satellite view of the Earth shows the words “initiate containment protocol” as they are entering city limits."

the movie in it of it self is quite interesting. because people with the disease in the beginning are only vaguely distinguishable from otherwise normal humans; the cast as well as the audience begins to question whether or not characters have become infected.

this movies only true down fall for me is the end. after watching and sympathizing with these characters for about 2 hours it felt like kind of a slap in the face to find out that the efforts of the main cast ended up being futile.

all in all the is a very interesting film with a lot of either new or rarely seen concepts. I recommend that you pay full price to see this because it is honestly just that enjoyable

Naruto manga chapter 486: http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/486/01/

Last week didn't bring us much other than naruto and sasuke clashing their trade mark techniques(chidori and rasengan) together. i mean sure you had naruto's seemignly pointless plee for sasuke to abandon his attempt at revenge but at this point what else can naruto say?....find out in this weeks chapter

first of all here's the most recent chap:http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/394/01/

essentially what we have here is the most powerful soul reaper out of the entire soul society getting his @$$ handed to him by a fire extinguisher...... All together now anime fans: FAIL!!!

The manga's author, Tite Kubo(be my guest and giggle t his name if you'd like), seems to be writing himself into a bit of corner. so far he's had almost every available soul reaper get his or her respective s*!& kicked in by Aizen leaving only Ichigo remaining to save the day. while Ichigo is considerably strong, his strength and experience pales in comparison to many of those that have fallen before him.

Anyone who reads manga can tell you whats gonna happen here. Ichigo will likely do battle with aizen and either win or just survive due to a convenient plot twist. bleach in particular already has a host of plot holes but if my prediction comes true, that may very well be the straw that breaks the camels back in terms of my committed readership to this series

unfortunately i didn't do a post for last week's chapter so bear with me and I'll give u a quick synopsis of what went down last week
