Ut saddens me to say this but speaking frankly as a college student school is kicking my @$$. Because of this I'll be taking a brief hiatus in order to make time for school work, expenses, and the new Mrs Akira Slug(my lady)
In the mean time i have to express my sadness at the loss of one of my favorite 90's rappers, Guru, the front man of "Gangstarr." He died a few days ago and details surrounding his death are sordid and sketchy.
Despite all the scandal Guru's music played a big part of my child. I can still remember the countless hours playing tony hawk while the song Mass appeal was blasting.
Guru and Gangstarr's music took you places with their smooth laden jazz and soul beats and they truly mastered what most consider that 90's sound.
As far as this reporter is concerned, he will be missed
