I know I'm a little late posting this one up but after seeing it about a minute ago on MTV I had to give it the Tri-Emm treatment; especially after my original post about this song about a month back:
Sadly this isn't the version of the song that featured Eminem but the video is still pretty impressive. The theme of this song is basically going back to an artists up-in-coming days prior to the so called lavish life of fame and fortune.
It's likely because of this theme why the video director chose to depict Singer Hayley Williams singing within still photographs during the chorus. Ultimately, this choice was a good one because, as mentioned before, it reiterates the central theme of the song making it more palpable to those who may not have been able to grasp it before.
