A while back i saw an update on my face book home that had a link that led to a page on that good 'ol social networking dinosaur, myspace. Now on this page was a number of tracks from Travie McCoy's latest album "Lazarus."
I initially loved a lot of the songs on there but there was one song that stood out in particular. This song was titled "The Manuel." the song had interesting lyrics, most notably the chorus which went "I'm just trying to be who you say you are, but who are you? I'm just trying to be who you say are the stars and who is cool, but who am I??" These lyrics tugged at my only recently subsiding teen angst to the point that i found myself humming the tune at inappropriate times (church, libraries, the line at the food court,...etc)
More to the point though, a video for the song "The Manuel" has been recently released and though it certainly isn't the finest peace of cinematography I've seen by any means, it's cool to see the album is getting attention to the point that videos are being so rapidly released.....
Anyhow, enjoy the video and don't be shy in telling me what you guys think
